Rouen Ducks
Rouen’s are a meat breed that came from France and are bred mostly for decoration or general purpose. They resemble a Mallard in appearance but are brighter and larger. They were first bred in France but did not become the bird we know today until they reached England and were refined in the 1800s. They weigh 6-8 pounds and lay 35-125 eggs a year.
